Mike was a relative latecomer when it came to having a gallery presence. He started painting during golden school days and has continued since, albeit somewhat irregularly. But it wasn’t until 2003 when Perry Allen invited him to show at Basement Gallery that his work was publicly exhibited. Since then there’ve been thirteen shows followed by a brief hiatus to contemplate the future and feed the squirrels.

Refreshed, he’s returned to the studio and working on several new oils — though he’s decided to keep the relaxing, contemplating, squirrel-feeding gimmick as a regular practice.

The paintings on this site date from 2002 through current work. Mike welcomes interested inquiries, general comments, and snide remarks via the contact page or the email at the top of this page.
